June 19, LOSER, 5/6
The Wordle Postgame Report is a brief analysis of a past game of Wordle, the five-letter-word guessing game now owned by the New York Times. If you do not play Wordle, Indignity encourages you to please skip this item. The existence of the Wordle Postgame Report does not constitute an endorsement of playing Wordle, of not playing Wordle, or of the New York Times.
I CLOSED ALL my Chrome tabs so the computer wouldn't get balky while we watched our old DVD of the original theatrical version of Return of the Jedi, and in restoring the browser afterward I managed to wipe out my record of how the game went. All I remember now is that I played POSER before I got to the correct answer, because I went at least two rounds operating under the belief that though LOSER would clearly fit, it had already been an answer sometime before. I guess it hadn't. Decent word, incompetent game play by me. I don't feel bad about it, though. I got wrecked by SHEIK in one quadrant of Quordle, too. Some days are like that.
The Wordle Postgame Report will be posted semi-regularly on the website of the Indignity newsletter, or possibly even daily if people turn out to want to read it.
