The Wordle Postgame Report is a brief analysis of a game of Wordle, the five-letter-word guessing game now owned by the New York Times. If you do not play Wordle, Indignity encourages you to please skip this item. The existence of the Wordle Postgame Report does not constitute an endorsement of playing Wordle, of not playing Wordle, or of the New York Times.
I SWEAR, IN the early days of Wordle, I used to get it in three a lot. Now I keep almost-getting it in three. BRISK got a green K. Four fresh letters: PLANK. A green L joined the green K. Two consonant combinations to solve. Thinking I was thinking like Wordle, I decided to try a repeated letter: CLOCK. Four green letters, but not the opening C. Another opportunity for a quck win melted away. Spirit drooping, I closed out with FLOCK.
The Wordle Postgame Report will be posted semi-regularly on the website of the Indignity newsletter, or possibly even daily if people turn out to want to read it.
