I lived in Sweden for a couple of years, so I learned some Swedish. Possibly my single favorite Swedish word is the Swedish word for rodent: gnagare. Roughly, it's pronounced "gnah-GEH-reh". Both g's are hard. The second one is accented. The first one is just barely pronounced. You could omit it altogether, and I suspect some Swedes do, but where's the fun in that? Anyhow, I like the word because basically, "gnaw" is built right into it. A rodent is an animal that gnaws: a gnagare!

"If you want to call someone a "flying rodent," go pick a fight with Flying Squirrel Man."

Or Squirrel Girl (a superhero who exists) after she's learned how to fly an ultralight. (If she doesn't already know?)
